Why Gen Y Reminds Us Of The 60s Counterculture Movement
Are Millennials A Throwback To The 60s?
We are in a place right now in American politics which is highly reminiscent of the 60s. Young people are galvanizing against the powers that be to speak their minds and enforce change. The glaring difference is that the soap boxes of the 60s are the YouTubes of today. I believe the youth of America has largely the same ideals as they maintained int he 60s, but the world around them and their ability to shape it has dramatically evolved and has put them in the driver's seat of our future.
